October was a chilled month, right?
October was a super exciting and really chill month. We are proud of the effort and dedication everyone puts into their work and the amazing results being churned out is proof of just how amazing you are.
We celebrated 3 birthdays in September, although we got to eat just 1 cake this month, but we wish them a year of abundant blessings.
October will always be a very special month here at Qucoon as we got to celebrate with our ever youthful and cheerful boss himself, TOPSY
Don't feel sad if yours wasn't this month, we are with you lol.
We all celebrated Olivia aka livvy the baddie who is now a resident in the UK. We are proud of everything she has accomplished thus far and appreciate her dedication and drive.
Before we share our stories, we want to welcome Ekene and KC, our new interns to the organization once again. We are happy to have them as part of the Qucoon team.
To the stories of the month;
We received stories from some of the wonderful women in our midst. Our first story is from Blessing aka blezzo and she shared this with us;
Q1. How do you start your day?
I start my day by with a me-time on the toilet seat (This helps my brain process things I have to do for the day). I have my bath, make coffee and say one or two words of prayer.
Q2 What are your tips for keeping fit?
Lol... Wouldn't that be ironic coming from me?? Anyway, eat your vegetables, drink water and mind your busines. 😉

Our next story is from the amazing AMAKA aka Maky the baddie and she had these to share with us;
Q1. How do you start your day?
I say a short prayer most times a sentence or two, then I write to my little Jar on how I want my day to go or any other thing I feel like penning down
Q2. What are your tips for keeping fit?
As a fitness enthusiast, here are my 5 tips for staying in shape:
- Drink water every morning as soon as you wake up
- Daily work out: This could be a 20-30mins exercise in the comfort of your room
- Ensure to take fruits every day or at least 5 times in a week
- Reduce your intake of food that contains high calories
- Avoid carbonated drinks*
We may have to get everyone to sign up to your daily fitness tips in the coming month, you sound very convincing
Our final story is from the lovely JOY aka spicy
Q1. How do you start your day?
Most times I start my day with prayers. I’m not really a morning person, but joining my morning prayers really set me in a good mood. Secondly, I love music a lot. I play songs I can relate to when I get off the bed, this helps me feel lighter and happy. Then I run through my phone incase there’s something urgent I need to address.
Q2 What are your tips for keeping fit?
Hmmmm, I don’t have a particular routine for staying in shape. But as I mentioned earlier, I love music a lot, so I try to dance when I can and I take short walks from time to time. Dancing and walking happen to be the only forms of exercise I indulge in.
I try to stay hydrated too. Remember the saying of ‘drink water and mind your business’?? I should be the leader of that movement 😉🌝
One thing we know is to start listening to music daily as it can help channel our minds in the right direction, thank you for this

We are in the final months of 2022, which means the year is slowly coming to an end, but there are still great things to accomplish and glorious moments to celebrate as a team before the year 2022 ends.
